Supreme Heating’s Award-Winning DualSun
The Ultimate Solar Electricity and Hot Water Hybrid Panel
Experience the ground-breaking technology of Supreme Heating’s DualSun, a revolutionary panel that combines solar photovoltaics and solar thermal to harness the full power of the sun. Designed and meticulously crafted in France, the DualSun has taken the Australian market by storm, receiving overwhelming praise and recognition.
The DualSun panel is a hybrid multi-energy panel that consolidates two technologies into one panel.
DualSun, designed for maximum flexibility, allows the panel to be compatible with numerous systems covering an array of building energy requirements.
But the advantages of the panel don’t stop there. The water circulation through the panel cools the photovoltaic cells which increase their efficiency. More than just two technologies, DualSun has created a synergy that maximises the sun’s energy.
DualBoost®
A standard photovoltaic panel generates 80% heat and only 20% electricity.
This heat is not only wasted but is adverse to the panel’s photovoltaic efficiency which decreases as temperature increases.
Thanks to its innovative heat exchanger and the water circulating behind the photovoltaic cells, the DualSun panel is constantly cooled which allows it to generate more electricity than a standard photovoltaic panel.
– This is the DualBoost effect.
DualHeat®
The back of the DualSun panel is composed of a polypropylene heat exchanger with 3 international patents. The water that circulates through the exchanger is warmed by the heat dissipated from the photovoltaic cells and can reach temperatures up to 70°C.
The heated water can then be used for different heating needs of the building, ideal for heating swimming pools or supplementing building services hot water.
– This is the DualHeat effect.

STC Solar Rebate
The Australian Government Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme creates a financial incentive for individuals and small businesses to install renewable energy systems such as DualSun hybrid solar PV thermal panels. It does this through the creation of small-scale technology certificates (STCs).
STCs are provided ‘up front’ for the systems’ expected power generation over a 15 year period or, from 2017, from the installation year until 2030 when the scheme ends.
Generally, homeowners who purchase a Heatseeker DualSun system assign the right to create their certificates to a supplier/installer in return for a lower purchase price.
The number of STCs that can be created per system is based on its geographical location, installation date, and the amount of electricity that is generated or displaced by the system.
As a guide, one STC is equal to one megawatt hour of eligible renewable electricity.
*Commercial installations may be entitled to Large-scale generation certificates based on the amount of eligible renewable electricity they produce. For further information, please speak to your Supreme Heating representative.
A flexible system design
Your electricity needs might be higher than your heated water needs. To produce the correct electrical and thermal outputs based on individual requirements, a standard photovoltaic panel, without a heat exchanger, can be used in combination with DualSun panels.
