Solar Pool Heating Controller
Troubleshooting: Temperature Sensors Fault
Try the following steps If you see these error codes on your controller:
- Sensor disconnected (AquaGen 3 or 5)
- Sensor short circuit (AquaGen 3 or 5)
- Isolating sensor fault (AquaGen 3 or 5)
- Error no. 77, 88, or 99 (V2 or 7 models)
- Pool or Roof Sensor LED light flashing (AquaGen 3D SpaceAge)
Wired sensors: Check the sensor connections
Make sure the sensors are plugged in properly
Make sure the wires are not damaged or broken
Check for signs of corrosion or bad connections
Try swapping the sensors (pool to roof/roof to pool).
If the error message changes this means the sensor is faulty and requires replacement. If the error message remains the same, you may require a new controller.
If you are still getting a sensor fault message, please lodge a service call request.
Run the pump manually: While you wait for our service team, you can unplug your water pump from the bottom of the controller and connect it directly to a nearby power outlet. On sunny days, this will run the water pump and heat your pool. Please just remember to disconnect the pump at night or on cloudy days to avoid cooling your pool down.
