Introducing VProX: Australia’s Most Efficient Pool Heat Pump
A new benchmark in pool heating efficiency is coming to Australia.
Supreme Heating is preparing to launch VProX in late 2026, our most advanced Pool Heat Pump yet, delivering efficiency of up to COP 30 under specified operating conditions.
VProX combines full inverter technology, a twin rotary compressor, a 3D Titanium Heat Exchanger, R290 natural refrigerant and AI powered iGarden control. The result is a premium Pool Heat Pump designed to deliver exceptional efficiency, intelligent control and serious heating performance.
What Makes VProX So Efficient?
Pool Heat Pump efficiency is measured using COP, or Coefficient of Performance. COP compares the heat transferred into the pool with the electricity consumed. At its most efficient operating point, VProX reaches up to COP 30, meaning it can transfer up to 30 units of heat for every 1 unit of electrical energy consumed.
Actual COP changes with air temperature, water temperature, humidity and operating load, so maximum COP figures should always be compared under equivalent test conditions.
Full Inverter Technology
VProX continuously adjusts output according to heating demand rather than simply operating at full power or switching off. As the pool approaches temperature, the system can reduce output and maintain temperature more efficiently.
Twin Rotary Compressor
Smooth variable-speed operation allows the compressor to respond precisely to changing heating demand, supporting efficiency, performance and quieter operation.
3D Titanium Heat Exchanger
A larger heat exchange area improves the transfer of energy into the pool water, while titanium provides excellent resistance in swimming pool water environments.
R290 Natural Refrigerant
R290 combines strong thermodynamic performance with a very low Global Warming Potential, supporting both high efficiency and a lower-impact refrigerant system.
What Could Higher COP Mean Over 12 Months?
To make the difference easier to understand, the graph below uses a simple like-for-like annual example. It assumes the same amount of pool heat is required over 12 months and uses $1,200 at COP 10 as an illustrative baseline.
Using the same heat-output assumption, the equivalent electricity cost falls as COP increases: approximately $800 at COP 15, $600 at COP 20 and $400 at COP 30.
That represents 66.7% lower electrical input at COP 30 compared with COP 10 for the same heat output.
This is an illustrative efficiency comparison, not a forecast of actual annual running cost. Real-world costs vary with pool size, climate, target water temperature, swimming season, pool cover use, electricity tariffs and the COP achieved during operation.
AI Powered Pool Heating with iGarden
VProX goes beyond mechanical efficiency. Through the iGarden intelligent control platform, AI technology becomes part of how the Pool Heat Pump is controlled, monitored and optimised.
- AI Energy Optimisation: helps intelligently manage operation and energy use.
- AI Smart Modes: provide intelligent control for different heating requirements.
- AI Voice Control: integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for compatible functions.
- Live Monitoring: provides visibility over pool temperature, system performance and energy usage.
- Remote Diagnostics: gives greater system visibility when technical support is required.
- Smart Notifications: keep owners informed with intelligent alerts and updates.
VProX delivers the hardware efficiency. iGarden adds an intelligent layer designed to help owners control, monitor and optimise how that technology is used.
Efficiency When You Want It. Power When You Need It.
Maximum efficiency is only one part of the VProX story. When faster heating or temperature recovery is required, 130% Turbo Boost provides additional output. Once the pool approaches the target temperature, full inverter operation allows VProX to reduce output and focus on efficient temperature maintenance.
Designed for Long-Term Performance
VProX is built for outdoor pool environments with OxyShield corrosion protection, a tough aluminium alloy cabinet, a titanium heat exchanger and intelligent defrost technology. The aim is simple: combine efficiency, performance, intelligent control and durability in one premium Pool Heat Pump.
